Experience
I grew up in Longwood, Florida, although I spent my college years in South Carolina. I attended Limestone College in Gaffney, SC, and there I earned a bachelor's degree in English Writing. While in college, I played NCAA Division 2 Men's Indoor Volleyball for all four years. I recently taught English III at Oak Ridge High School during the 2014-2015 school year. While I tutor many subjects, I believe that I am the best at teaching English. Preparing students for the SAT and ACT tests is another of my specialties. With my history of playing college sports, I am experienced at helping students who are also involved in sports. Balancing sports and schoolwork can be difficult for many students, and I can teach the tools for success to students having trouble juggling the two. When I tutor, I strive to not just help students learn the answer to the questions on their assignments and tests, but to also help them learn to think critically and truly expand their minds. I like to help my students become the best they can be in all areas of their lives. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, playing and coaching volleyball, and participating in several other sports. I am also always seeking a new adventure in life.
